socks that stay on?!

by Diane1003, Oct 06, 2008 06:38AM
Has anyone found socks that stay on?  My 3 month old kicks so much and his socks always find a way to come off.  I've tried a few different things and nothing works. Has anyone found success with anything?!

Thanks in advance.

I have had problems with socks on my dd for the past 8 months!  Either they are way too small or they fall off!  The best ones I have found so far are from baby gap.  They seem to stay on the best.

A friend recommended ones from Babies R Us - Miniwear or something...  they're white with colored toes and heels -

ahhhh.... i know how you feel!! its frustrating. my little man is constantly kicking off his little socks. i find that fold the top of the socks over helps a little... but every once in a while... he loses another sock.

I've tried unfolding socks to make them longer thinking they'd stay on longer - uh - nope.  The ones from Babies R Us stay on - but they don't stay in the right place.  The toes, heels, and cuffs are colored and the heels slip out of place but they stay covering his little feet!!  But we only have three pairs and are doing laundry all the time!

I get the ones from Target and I love them. I think they are "first year" brand or something like that.  They come in a pack of 6 pairs.  Some have stripes or stars on them and have different colors.  They work best if you fold them over but they aren't really designed for that.  If you do fold them over, they rarely come off.

The 'circo' brand from Taget are awful.  I'll try the other ones - thanks.

My sister-in-law bougth my son some Baby Gap ones. They are the only ones that stay one his feet. I went to the Gap store to get some more but they said they don't carry them there. She told me to go to Sears or The Bay.
They are like 5 pairs for $15.

I have the same problem. I do know that a random lady and I were talking in Old Navy the other day and she said she found some at Kohl's that are called No Slip Grip that don't come off. We don't have a Kohl's where I live. You might try those.

Walmart has a type of Crew sock, and it stays on, I throw all my baby booty type socks away.  They were pointless.

babygap 0-3 basic socks are the only thing that stays on my babies feet. they come in pink, white or blue. make sure you buy the basic ones.

Thanks - we have a pair of shoes that fit him now that we use to keep socks on. I look forward to summer and bare feet.

I also found some at walmart, they came in a 2 pack, and they are kinda thick, other than that no luck for socks to stay on longer than an hour or so.

We got a set of Trumpette socks as a gift and they are great!  Dd uses Mary Janes socks but you can find boy style socks as well.  Amazon.com offers those in several styles.  They are pricey but they definitely stay on.
