The thing that works BEST is boiling them in large pots of water as many chemicals may harm your precious bundle of joy...very easy just pull the bottles apart boil for 10 min then let air dry once or twice a week give a good cleaning with dish detergent and soap AFTER each use :)

I have an avent microwave sterilizer. I used it for my son and never had any issues with it. You load it up with bottles pacifiers or breast pump parts add 5-6oz of water and put in the microwave for 5 minutes. Also though once the bottles, etc, come out of the boiling water or a microwave sterilizer they are technically no longer sterile. Washing with a good detergent and hot water is just as good. I think Palmolive makes a special one for baby products and I use a brand called Mrs Meyers, you can sometimes find it at Target or Walmart and it is all natural, plus the scents they have are amazing!  I use it for all of our dishes since we don't have a dishwasher.

I was told to sterilize nipples and vents for bottles when you first open the package.  After that, you can simply put tgem in top rack of dishwasher.  The water temperature in there gets hot enough to take care of sterilization.  I still boiled mine again like every couple months.  But there's no sense in spending money on something that isn't a necessity.  You just need a pot and water.

Medela also has quick clean steam bags. :) I love their breastfeeding products as well.
