Numbness in Face

My friend was currently in a car accident and she had hit her right side of her face and neck against the windshield. Now it's four, five days after and her face is still numb. It also itches but she can't feel herself itching her face. I really want to know if I should have her go to the hospital or if the nerves are just shocked.

She should go to a Neurosurgeon and get checked up. She may need MRIs of the head and neck.

The facial nerve could be damaged.hopefuly not, Therefore, I advice your friend to go to hospital as soon as possible.
