back pain from fall

Ten days ago, I fainted and fell on concrete, on my butt, then the back of my head.  Head is healed, but still am unable to bend over and have a hard time walking up stairs.  Have to point my feet out to get up stairs.  No problem coming down stairs though.  No pain at all when walking.  Have to be careful getting into a car and out.  Twenty years ago had lazor surgery on L5s1 disk.  have a house cleaning business, so I do bend over alot. So Doc, what do you think I did to myself?  What do I do to heal ?

Did you go to the ER or see your doctor?

Why did you faint? Do you have a circulation problem? I would be worried about spontaneous fainting than your back!

If you have no pain when you walk and are stiff in your back, I would think you have lumbar strain - your muscles are traumatized from the fall and should get better with time. Without examining you, I can't know if there was any more serious injury. If you are still stiff and achy, you should see your doctor to see if medications or physical therapy could help or if to see if you have something more serious going on.
