I had an xray a few days ago and my scolliosis curvature is the same, but apparently that isn't what is causing the back pain that is bothering me. As I said, I've had back pain for years, but apparently this could be related to me not having enough abdominal muscles because of my hypotonia. I didn't have oxygen when i was born so i'm slightly defective in that way. She put me on napersin but that hasn't really helped. She also is having me get an mri in a couple weeks.
The pain is under my shoulder blade on one of my ribs, to be specific. It feels tender and there is a lump stuck to it. Sometimes it hurts more than other times, but the pain can get so bad that i want to cry. It doesn't bother me much if I lay down flat, but when i'm sitting or standing and walking around it starts to bother me. Sitting upright is especially painful.I have started getting a couple weird shaped bruises on my lower part of my left leg. That bone inside of my leg there is also kinda tender, but it's not so bad like my back. It's just uncomfortable. It just started getting that way a few days ago, so it is probably nothing.
I have started getting bladder infections lately, but my mom said it's because I'm not clean enough. I never used to get them though, so it is weird. When i have them I have bloody urine with bacteria, nitrates, and some color blood cells, and it stings a lot when i go.

I normally wouldn't be so concerned about my health like this or go to the trouble of complaining so much but right now i really am having an issue! I'm meant to be going to mongolia on a dig with my school in two and a half weeks and I just can't deal wtih the pain while i'm gone. I will be doing a lot and I won't be able to lay flat like i need to in order to get relief. I mean, i'm sure that i'm healthy and all, after all i'm only 17, i can't get *that* sick and nothign could be that wrong with me. it's just that whatever it is needs to be fixed ASAP because I REALLY want to have as much fun as possible in Mongolia!

wow!! SUCH A TERREFIC TRIP, BUT, MAYBE SADLY YOU OUGHT NOT TO GO, PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU ARE GOING THROUGH, YOU SOUND YOUNG, THIS TRIP MAY COME UP AGAIN, IF NOT=WELL MAYBE IT IS JUST NOT YOUR TIME,  YOU JUST MAY DO MORE DAMAGE AND YOU JUST MAY ONCE YOU GET THERE HAVE TO BE UNDER THE HEALTH PROTECTION OF THAT COUNTRY IN A REMOTE SITE.  AFRAID FOR YOU, I HAVE HAD UNDESCRIBLE PAIN FOR 18 YEARS, AND HAVE MISSED MANY THINGS, AND HAVE CAUSED A WONDERFUL HUSBAND TO ALSO MISS OUT ON WHAT HE WOULD HAVE LOVED.  I FIND THE QUILT OVER THAT TO BE WORSE THAN THE PAIN TO MYSELF.

AS SOMEONE WHO LOVES GEMS AND MINERALS,(MAYBE YOU DO TOO) THIS DIG IS SOMETHING EXCITING AND BIG, BUT YOU WILL SUFFER TOO MUCH, I DO BELIEVE THAT THIS WILL HAPPEN, IT'S TOO FAR AWAY, TOO REMOTE, AND THE DIG ITSELF IS TOO MUCH WORK, SORRY,  MY SINCEREST SYMPATHY,,,GABBI
