Why would my the back of my neck ache when it is cool or when a fan blows on it?

It may be nothing at all if you have no other problems such as tingling, numbness or weakness in the arms or pain aggravated by neck movement.
If you do have additional problems go and see your family doc.

Perhaps you are suffering from soft tissue inflammation in your neck,Which lead to sensation in your neck. Take care!
