? Injections for back pain

I hurt my back several months ago. Have been going to PT for 4 months with some relief, but now my doctor wants to try Medial branch block injection L2-3 through L5-S1 and a SI injection. I have 2 buldging disc L5-S1 is buldging anteriorly and pressing on the nerve. Can anyone please tell me about these injections, if they work or should I still just stick with the PT.  I'm just really getting tired of being in pain all the time.

I am 25 yrs old I have been dealing with back pain, since i was 16.  I have had 9 injections, and 1 surgery, then 2 injections after that.   After each injection the pain for me was unbearable, and it was that way every time.  I agree with toolmaker though Try it, itmay help you. Good luck.

Give the injections a try they may help you.My only suggestion would be that you insist on being sedated during the procedure.
