I had my dr. check me today, and he would like to rule out problems in the bone itself. he said what i described as "pain", is very indicative of something happening in the bone. He said he would like to have a swimmer's view of exrays. Thanks for your help and I'll certainly keep you posted. Since I beat uterine ca years ago, I guess it's just something most of us go thru with always thinking the worse. We all beat ca, my mom had pancreatic ca, had a whipple bypass (over 10 hrs.) in 1980, and lived afterwards for 14 yrs. I believe her case is written up in medical journals. So, we all have a wonderful, positive attitude, but like to rule out the worse. ty again, Andrea
If its on the right, maybe its just pulled muscle or a rib irritation of some kind. They can be very painful.
Take Care
it's really difficult to describe, because I have never experienced this before. I guess it might be a "stabbing" pain. After reading my entry, I meant to say it's to the right of my left scapulae. Didn't realize that the cervical nerves run thru the bracial plexus. Thanks for your advice.
When you say fish hook pulling, do you mean stabbing? The lower cervical nerves that refer pain to that area all run through the brachial plexus, you should really see a Doctor.
