21 with chronic left hip pain

My partner would like some information on what he can do to releave this hip pain. It's been going on for several months and seems to be getting worse. It's mostly bad in the mornings, it continues througout the day. He cannont sit down for more than a few minutes at a time. Laying down does not help much either.
We don't have any medical or I would force him to go to the doctor.
Can anyone help. I wondering if it could be something in his lower back effecting his hip.

First & foremost, your partner needs to be seen my medical professionals. Even if you cannot take your partner to see your doctor--- you need to CALL your doctor and make the MD aware of what is going on, how long they are going on, and how the pain/symptoms affect your partner. Be sure to mention any medications, over the counter, herbal, even homemade that you have tried--what works/what doesn't.  Any relief from 20 minutes of heat, then 20 min regular air (you can do ice like that too)?  Doctors are a wealth of information, they have access to free "sample" medications, and are great resources for helping you find resources so you can get you and your partners needs met.    Was this pain brought on due to an injury at work or in a vehicle, a fall inside/outside a public busincess?   Would he qualify for your state's Medicaid program--which is issued month to month?  Do you live near a "teaching hospital"-- many times they will "write off" any payment due.                Make that call to your partner's doctor!
