Annular Tear & Disk Herniation Question

I have had pain (burning) in my neck, shoulders, scaupula (pins & needles pain), biceps, forearms and mid thoracic since March. All the muscles in this region are stiff & in spasm. Many test were performed (blood work, nerve conduction, bone scan,etc.) to rule out RA & other autoimmune disorders. A recent MRI revealed an right paracentral annular tear at C3-C4, slight disk herniation at C5-C6. There is a loss of intervertebral disk space  height and intensity at C3-C4 and C5-C6 intervartebral disk spaces. I am have an appointment in a week w/ Doc to review the MRI.Can the findings in the MRI cause the pain & symptoms I have. Any and all feedback/advice is appreciated.
