Back, hip & arm pain
I will give you my symptons, and hopefully someone can shed some light on my situation.  I have led a very active lifestyle. and still do. (Horses, cattle, softball, volleyball, racquetball, golf, 4-wheeler's, etc.)  I am now 53 years old and have severe pain in my back, hips, left arm, and down the back of my legs.  I have constant numbness from my hips to my knees, frequent numbness in my hands, at times I will get very dizzy like I am having a panic attack, and I will get radiating pain from the middle of my back, around my ribs into my stomach.    I have been to the doctor, take muscle relaxers, celebrex, and pain pills.  The specialist didn't tell me a damn thing other than I was overweight and needed core exercises, I am not completely out of shape, never have been, and am quite muscular.  I reminded him I can't walk around the block anymore due to the pain in my left leg.  So he prescribed a shot.  Whoppee!! He didn't tell me what was going on, or what I have to look forward too.      I have a hard time believing the pain will subside with more exercise....  and I don't want to put up with this pain for the rest of my life... I can't!!  It has stopped me in my tracks!!  I don't believe in taking synthetic drugs, and do not take the prescriptions daily.  I believe this warrants a second opinion, don't you?
