First of all i would just like to introduce my self, my name is Nathan and i am studying BA Product Design in Swansea.
I am in my 3rd of Uni and we all have to pick a Major Project where we design a product for a particular purpose. The topic i have chosen was Upper and Middle Back Pain. I have just a few questions and if anyone could answer them it would help me greatly!
1. Causes: What causes upper and middle back pain?
2. Treatment: What treatment is in place currently? Physio? Product based?
3. Problem: How many cases are there of upper and middle back pain? Is it a big problem?
4. Gender: Is it gender specific
5. Age: Is there a specific age where it's most prominent?
hi my back pain started 7 years ago when i was 32
i was going the gym 4 times a week and i felt my arm feeling tired one day which then tightened my neck muscles on left side and then balance went to the left and i felt like i was walking on marshmallows
it has been the same ever since
the doctors want to give you that much pain killers ,to mask the pain rather than find underlying problem
one doctor said i had sinitus and another one thought i had a stroke!!!!!
i have injections in neck and back twice a year ,this helps
but i know if i found the right person with the right knowledge they would be able to sort it for me
there is a thing called trigger points, you probably heard of them but interesting read
