Back and Head Pain

Hey All,

Am new to this site however have recently been experiencing some medical issues that are scaring me.

A few weeks ago I fired up my exercise routine in an attempt to get my metabolism in higher gear.  The reason is I've felt for the past year that my daily routine has gotten boring and my energy levels were starting to level out. I'm no spring chicken at 44 years however I usually get 20-30 min of strength training in and 20-30 min of cardio per day x 5 days a week.

Anyhow, my local fitness guru gave me a new interval running program and I've been working hard to reach my daily goals. I alternate my cardio with 3 days running on indoor treadmill and 2 days on the eliptical. My previous cardio was 3 days running on treadmill but only for endurance at about a 10 min per mile pace x 20-30 minutes and 2 days on eliptical.  About two weeks into this new program I started to feel odd dulling sensations in my head.  I also had right eye socket pain/pressure (1x week for two weeks).  My family has history of heart issues so doctor ordered EKG which read good fit heart.

Two days later I woke up with odd sensation in back rear left side of head.  No vision or hearing issues however tingling and of course anxiety increase due to the unknown. Took a tylenol and went to Doc who conducted a few diagnostic tests of my eyes, ears, nose, throat, etc. all with positive results. Doc ordered CT and MRA which is scheduled in next few weeks to month.

This weekend I experienced increased sensations in my head, especially during what I would consider to be more stressfull periods (driving in Korea) or sitting behind computer (not stressfull but requires focus and attention).  I'm experiencing what seems to be sensations that move from side to top to back of head. Almost feels like goosebumps.  Additionally I'm feeling slight pressure or tingling in upper back.

After experiencing all these symptoms I finally decided to rest from the gym a few days.  The past two days I have had no symptoms and needed no medications.

At this point I believe I may have hurt myself however have had no trama that I'm aware of.

Anyhow am very worried about the unknown as doctors tell me that this is not an emergent situation and to wait for tests.

Any assistance that you might have will help.

Thank you
