Back pain just before a bowel movement for a while

Last year I had a bad bout of diarrhea and constipation that lasted a few weeks. It got better after taking antibiotics but I got dehydrated so I made it a habit to drink lots of water after that.I only noticed that for a  while I have been having  back pain before I have a bowel movement though the pain goes after I have stool and that my stools more often than not are mushy with a few solid pieces or like sludge if I eat nooodles.Is this cause for concern or is it me drinking too much water.I am not diabetic?
