Back problems related to muscle twitching & cramping pain?

Hi all! Has anyone heard of minor spinal problems (mild disk degeneration in a couple of spots and a slightly bulging L5 S1) causing muscle twitching and pain? I have muscles twitching all over for the past four months, but concentrated mainly in my right lower leg. It's easy to see the correlation between back issues and pain, but I'm coming up empty when trying to figure out why all the muscle twitching is happening.

Hello prior to having spinal surgery in february, I was plagued with cramps and twitches!
not, funny, especially when the slightest movement could bring on major cramps, from toes to shoulder blades, which could literally lock you up! Thankfully, they have all but dissappeared since surgery, except for minor cramps in the feet when i walk too far.
if you are offered physio or surgery, do consider it, Best of luck.
