Can You Help?

Afternoon,

I have been struggling with Head Pressure (Back,Side,Behind Nose and Sharp Pains over eyes and across top of head) with balance problems as well as Numb/Tingling sensations with pain between my shoulder blades and finally Palpitations (Fast and Irregular often) for 3 1/2 weeks.

I thought that it maybe something to do with my Spine so I booked in to see a Chiropractor. I had X-Rays which showed that my spine was very slightly to the left and my pelvis was slightly wonky but the major thing that come up was that I had near reverse neck syndrome. It looked on the X-Rays that I had no nature curve. I do work on computers and try and keep a good posture.

I am 26 5ft 8in - Male

Do you think that the Spine or neck could be causing me these horrible symptoms that I am struggling to live with?

Hi - Thank for your comment.

What symptoms did you or do you have?

I've been myself, in The Pettibon System and have gained 20% curvature back in my neck as I have lost complete lordosis in my neck as well. This system works, is effective and safe with no harmful side-effects!!

Hi, my advice is to see a chiropractor. They are experts in the muscular/skeletal system and have gone to school exclusively for both these areas. I would do my research and find one that practices The Pettibon System which is a full spine regevenation program and also one who practices decompression therapy!! I trust no ortho dr with sumthing as important as my spine, only a chiro can touch my spine unless he/she tells me its time for a neurosurgeion/neurologist. Best of luck to u, I wish u well!!:)

I have the symptoms pretty much throughout the day;worse when I am sitting for long periods of time.  I dare not lift anything heavy anymore.  I have had this for 4-5 months.  I am seeing a NS in May.

Secondly, be careful with Chiropractors and adjustments.  Not saying they can't be of any help, but adjustments can make things worse; you got alot going on with your spine.

Lastly, I would see a Spine Specialist vs a Chiropractor.  Unfortunately, these visits can be expensive though.

How long and often have you had the symptoms for? Mine are everyday at the minute. Do you think that a Chiropractor will help me? He believes that he will be able to help me but it will take 6-8 months. The thing that worries me is that I can't really afford it.

Sounds like your Cervical spine/neck.  I would recommend seeing a Spine Specialist/Orthopedic Specialist.  I have the same problem with my neck; the curvature in my Cervical spine is straightening.  I have other issues as well with my Cervical spine.  Your symptoms sounds exactly like mine.
