Cervical spondo? Causing tension literally!

Hi,
Have been experiencing strange scalp sensation at the back of my head while touching mild pain which comes and goes. Just like when you tie a tight pony and the spot has pulling pain sensation. Also my neck feels week as unable to lift weight of my head. This is going on since almost ten days now
Shown to the ortho. And result is this:

Straightening pf curvature of cervical spine
Multiple osteophytes noted at cervical vertebrae
Briidging osteophtes noted at c5-c6 and c6-c7.
Visualized vertebrae shows normal height alignment. All rest is ok
Prescribed tab Nucixia(60+4)for three days. Plus B12and vitamin d for a month

Please tell me wil this sensation of scalp pain which emits at the back of right head travelling at times to right eye blur for 1or 2seconds and facial pressure on face till the nose will go away after taking theae medicine?. I feel looosing balance too also mild dizziness which is not to evident but is there. Please guide... Are these only symptoms of spondylosis cervical or anytgngi else which would require attention
Thanks

I do not know about the tension you feel in your scalp. THis may very well be a side effect, but I don't udnerstand the mechanism with given information.

Often, the pain of a degenerative disc disease comes on quickly, and often enough, the symptoms do not immediately point to cervical disease, making diagnosis tricky. My cervical disc disease began with referred pain to the shoulder, so much so that I though I had a shoulder condition.

I am assuming you may live in a country where MRI is not used as often as it is in America. I've had my spine disease long enough to remember when xray was the only diagnostic imaging tool, and doctors were pretty good at reading xray --- however, MRI show so much more information, especially on the state of the discs.

You may need to see a specialist to get the MRI ordered.

Physical therapy can also help early cervical disease. A good PT who understand neck therapy may help you out of your pain problems -- seek one out.

Best wishes.

Welcome ispeak.

Since we've seen neither your MRIs nor have we examined you, I'm going to have to ask you a question in return...

What did your doctor say when you asked these questions?

BTW, I thnk you mean Nucoxia, a Cox-2 inhibitor, which is very much like aspirin, but without the stomach upset.

Best wishes.
