Chronic knee pain

My 10 year old who is on the last month of his chemo treatment had a spinal last week and has had chronic knee pain every since. T3 and morphine is not working, waiting to get an MRI next week, What could this be, and what should we do while we wait for MRI?

I am sorry to hear of your son's current health problems.  I am hopeful that the chemotherapy he is receiving will be beneficial.
An MRI is a valuable diagnostic tool and should provide sufficient information to his physician to determine the source of his knee pain.
The topic of knee pain is beyond the scope of this community, however.  The topics primarily addressed are related to possible abnormal conditions of the neck and spine.
If you look at the header at the top of the MedHelp site, you will see "Health Topics".
Click on this link and then go to "k" and scroll for knee pain.  This will take you to resources that might be better suited to assist in your query.
I hope that your son recuperates fully.  It must be very helpful to have such a caring mother be his advocate.
Best wishes ---
