Degenerative Cervical Disc Disease

A recent MRI reveals that I have DDD in my cervical spine, bulging discs, mild spinal stenosis and mild narrowing of the foraminal canals. THere is a osteocyte disc  complex in C5-C6.  I am beginning to get some numbness sensations in my arms and hands and my thumbs shake when my hands are at rest.  Is the thumb shaking from the cervical problems?  I hope it is not something else.  My neck hurts in the dorsal area around C4 through C7 when I am resting.  If I move around it does not hurt very much.  What is the cause of my pain?
