Dizziness/Neck problem

by Mitchy44, Oct 31, 2007 11:17AM
About a month ago I turned my neck while lying in bed, and got dizzy.  It went away when I sat up but I got dizzy every time I lay on my left side.  It seemed to sort itself out but I had to be careful not to turn my head to look down for a couple of weeks.  Then, last week, I woke up completely dizzy and had trouble keeping my balance when I stood up.  I have been to a Chiropractor twice, and have been told that C-1 and C-2 were out of place.  The manipulations helped but my neck is sore and I am still getting dizzy if I move my neck to look down but there is no consistency in the type of movement which causes my head to swim.  Should I continue allowing the Chiropractor to work on my neck, or should I see a medical specialist?
Thanks for any assistance.
