When I was growing up I used to get these ramdom episodes of extreme sharp pain, almost electric shock-like, in my right shoulder, I think in my trapezious muscles, near the neck. They would only last a second but were so sudden and painful that I would look over my shoulder to see if somebody had hit me there with a baseball bat. I still occasionally get muscle pain there, especially after strenuous exercise. Do have any suggestions as to what may have caused this or treatment options.
