Electromyography & Nerve Conduction Velocity Results

Due to a lower back injury, I had a EMG/NCV procedure earlier this month. The Results came back as follows:

1) MNCV is WNL in both legs
2) H-Reflexes and F-Waves are not prolonged
3) MPNNEMG was Abnormal
4) The data is consistant with right L5 lumbar radiculopathy.

Can someone please translate the medical terms to plain English for my understanding?

Hi there!

The report described most findings within the normal range while one of the non-linear signals being abnormal, a nerve root compromise of L5 on the right side is suspected.
Hope this is helpful.

Take care!
