Facial drooping with neck pain

Does anyone else have facial drooping either before or after you have had cervical disk surgery?  I have had 2 disk surgeries, and things were fine until I fell 2 months ago.  Since then, the left side of my face droops and feels as if I have gone to the dentist, had a shot, and the feeling is just coming back in.  I had an MRI scan of the brain, which showed nothing.  Bell's Palsy has also been ruled out.  My doctor is at a loss as to what is going on.  Can anyone tell me if you have had this and if you have, what was the cause and what did you have done about it?  By the way, I am also having severe neck pain (not constant, but a lot of the time) along with the drooping.

I was involved in an MVA in November 07.  I was diagnosed with whiplash.  I have 4 non-surgical disc herniations.  They prescribed me some prednasone and after it wore off the left side of my face has been numb with varying degrees of severity.  I also have the slight drooping.  Currently, my spine specialist has me visiting physical therapy and chiropractic.  The numbness extends down into my throat on the left side.  My esophagus/airway feels enlarged on the left.  I find myself coughing throughout the day.  Have you had any new?
