Feeling off balance, like my spine doesn't support me
I've been having a problem where I feel off balance when standing, with a feeling in my neck or spine like it doesn't support me properly. This has been getting better and worse at various times over the last 10 or 11 months. The feeling is never so bad that I would fall over, but makes standing unconfortable when it is bad. I've seen several doctors and had x-rays, MRIs, blood tests, and several other tests, none of which found anything wrong (except for a vitamin D definciency, which has since been treated). I've been seeing a physical therapist for a couple months, and while initially my symptoms imporved, they have since gotten worse again. Since they have gotten better and worse on previous occasions, I really don't know if the physical therapy is helping at all. While this has been going on, I've had some other health problems including upper abdominal pain and eye problems, and I don't know if those are related to the neck and back problems, or completely unrelated. Anyway, my primary care doctor doesn't really have any ideas of what else could be done to either diagnose or treat my symptoms, so I was hoping someone else would have some suggestions.
