Fell on tailbone while sledding
Hi all, I was sledding a few days ago and came down on my tail bone fairly hard...it hurt right away.  I used a heating pad that night and am still experiencing discomfort.  Feel a little bit of a burning and can't sit very long in pone place.  Also can't sellp too comfortably - wakes me up at night.  Been about a week.

Any remedies?  Also, should I be using heat or ice -- I can't never remember?  Thanks.

It took 2 weeks before my severa tailbone pain felt any relief and about 8 weeks before it quit hurting.  The best thing to do it get a pillow that made out of memory foam and has a whole cut in the back edge.  This allows  your tailbone to not receive any pressure when sitting.  I even slept on my pillow to keep the pressure off.
