Fractured back on left side, no slippage, anyone else?

I have been dealing with sciatica for 3 years.(not constant) but 3 months ago it came back...BAD!!!! almost impossible to function normally. severe right leg pain and numbness. xray showed a shaodow on one side with no slippage. having cat scan wed 3/21 to verify? anybody else, any help would be great!!!
