Horse fall-back injury

I am a teen, and about 16 months ago, I was thrown from a horse while going over a jump, so I fell maybe three feet. I landed on my lower left back area, the middle right area, and on my left shoulder near the neck. My back and neck hurt pretty bad for a while, but I didn't think it would last long, and it soon faded to an ache, but still hurt. About 6 months later I had a bone scan done, and nothing showed up, but what was first given out as a possible idea was that I had a small fracture that healed up good, so wouldn't show up.
Now, I still have back pain in those general areas, especially after I do alot of exercise. My family doesn't really have alot of money to spend on a bunch of tests, but I would like to figure out what's wrong, and if it's going to be a permanent injury. I haven't gotten an MRI because we didn't know if I would need it. If anyone has any idea what could be wrong, or maybe how I should pursue this further I'd love some ideas, because I'd of course like the pain to go away.

Hi......it is possible to get a what is called a syrinx from a trauma type injury....a MRI is needed to see if u did in fact develop one...however, they can be slow to grow, and usually not seen right away...but u r 16 months out so if u did develop one it should show up.

Have u considered whip lash?...mayb ur muscles r healing and twisting in the wrong direction...usually PT can help this to redirect the muscles and that could be it.....

Since u do not have other issues it is more likely a muscle issue...and good PT may be all u need......
