Infection in between T3 and T4

Hi,
My brother's wife is diagnosed with Infection in between T3 and T4. She is put on heavy Antibiotics. It might have developed due to poor immunity system when her White Blood count fell drastically for which she was treated few weeks before. They are in Thane, India.
Can anybody advice how this is treated to cure asap.
If surgery is the option, what needs to be taken care before and after the surgery ?
