Injured while being a Bone Marrow donor

After donating bone marrow donor for through Bill Young NBMP 10-17-2007 untill current, I have had pain in lower back and down left leg Rating from 3-7 on a pain scale.

I have been afforded PT and preform stretching exercises, massage techniques=manually working on scar tissue with extreme pain.

After a Bone Scan and QST heat cold test I have just been told I have Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Syndrome.

Other than meds that do not allow me to be mentally alert is there anything I can do?

I would think that the Bill Young NBMP would follow and provide a level of treatment to relieve your pain,  who manages your medicial after donation / harvest?

This Program falls under the Dept. of DHHS,  when I left George Town Hosp.  I was told I would not be seen here for follow up.  to answer your question yes and no.

they do call and ask how are you doing, they do not provide medicial direct care and are slow on authorizing 3rd party care.

It is hard to find a doctor that has provided after care to donors you just do not know were to find one!
