I've been having sharp pain in my back on the upper right side when I breathe in deeply. It's been getting much worse. Please help me. What is it and who should i go to to help me?

Hi. I'm a 13 year old girl. A year ago I started having pain in my back only when I would breathe in deeply. About two to three months ago I started to get help. I was very stupid to wait that long. First I went to my regular pediatric doctor and she told me to go to an orthopedist. So my mom took me to the best one she could find. He checked me over, took an x-ray and told me I should go to a Pulmonologist.

A few days before that doctor visit my back started hurting, so my mom started massaging my back to make it feel better. I got so scared because I could feel her hand on top of my skin but when she put pressure I was numb. I couldn't feel anything. The Pulmonologist couln't find anything wrong with the breathing tests he ran. They took some blood tests too and couldn't find anything. So my mom decided it might possibly be something that could be fixed by a massage therepist. That helped for a few hours afterward but then the pain came back.

My mom remembered a chiropractor that had helped my father a while ago. I went to him and he said it was from cracking my back. So I stoped cracking my back and neck for a month. It didn't help at all. Then he said that it was because of my bad posture. That wasn't the case either.

It's been getting so bad. It's starting to hurt and feel uncomfortable constantly. I can't sleep at night which is causing me to fall behind in class. I think it gets worse with stress because right before big tests, it gets so painful I start to cry. I really can't take it. The pain and lack of sleep are making me very depressed. I'm always tired and have not alot of strength. I cry all the time because no one knows whats wrong with me. Please try to help. Please tell me what to do and where to go to get help. Thank you.

Tell your mother to make YOU more comfortable, to have a Chest X-Ray/CT Scan. This can rule out anything you are scared of.

It is soft tissue injures around your T spine. Try deep and intensive acupuncture.
