Kyphoplasty

Is Kyphoplasty a help for failed laminectomy?  X-rays show two of the six pins (screws) in the ladder in my back have moved.  Deterioration from aging, arthritis???  Pain is almost constant.  Know a 93-year-old who had Kyphoplasty and is doing very well.  Walking, pain relieved.  Could it help someone with my symptoms?

OMG--Finally...I have been suffering for so long..searching for answers in the wrong direction.You know you can look a lot of places and try so many different things trying to find what is wrong w/you and there it is right under your nose the whole time. I knew I had a T3-T4 compressed fracture that my Neurosurgen just left in and thought that it must have been nothing since they didn't address it. They did a ACD & F on my C5-C6 w/titanium plates. I have also been told that I didn't even need the surgery by a pain dc.and that I needed them out by a Chiro...I just can't believe they wouldn't tell me or do anything @ it.I have even been back suffering @ it and asking what in the world can it be because my pain level is so outragious.I can take pain well and am a fighter.If you read some of my threads and they add up to a lot. I have been a member here for mos.,maybe a yr. It is so sad when the world just turns their head. Please get bk w/me @ this laminectomy..I have heard of it,but can't place it at the moment...maybe I am just having a moment..on Lyrica and don't know what I'd do w/out it to tell you the truth.Nnumbess to the point of paralysis and I went back to the Neuro that did my surgery and told him what the other two docs had said and he just as well you could say but laugh..not so much out loud,but I could see that he knew that I had been looking for the answer and just exhausted by it.Do u think that the Lyrica could be causing me to feel so numb,but my nerve damage is so extensive.See I had 3 ESI's and the third one the doc hit..I think my spinal cord,bc I was numb in my hands and feet right then and there on the spot. I jumped on the table to where I raised my head and u know u just don't do that..that is if u have had one. The doc studdered and just said "Friction"..I don't know what that is...Is it spinal shock? I just pray that I can go and get this Kyphoplasty and lead a normal life...Lord willing..I hope that that doc hasn't caused me to have permanent nerve damage. New Neurologist that I am seeing told me just last wk. that I had carpel tunnel in both hands...no way..this possible since I haven't worked since '04..What do u think?Sorry for shortened words...I guess it's the cp..Hmph..frustrated..I sure hope I hear from u so I can get bk to this Neuro that did my surgery. Do u know for real if the screws can come out or move? I only have two and I mowed my parents yard w/a riding mower just 3 mos. after surgery then accident prone me was enjoying a beautiful spring day...this was May after my surgery...all in same mos.I guess and I was sitting on a hammock that was old and had no business straddling the thing and my 9 yr. old son came to sit w/me and the thing fell. Please tell me that these things are alright...the one who done the surgery is going to tell me what I want to hear...I don't think he will tell me if the surgery has failed in any way.He is not going to imply himself..do u think...nawww..
