L5-S1 Fragment

L5-S1 Fragment

I had an MRI done last week, and it show that I have an L5-S1 fragment that is protruding.  I forget the word they used (started with an S, I think), but something about my L3 and L4 narrowing?  I have pain that goes down my right leg, and my right foot tingles when I walk a lot.  I have an appointment at a spinal clinic tomorrow.  Do you think they will suggest surgery?  What do you think some of my other options might be?  I do not want any sort of "pain management".  I want to fix the problem, not mask it.  What do you think?

It's stenosis (spinal canal narrowing).
1,only 2% back pain patient need surgery,so they may suggest conservative treatment first.
2,It's depend on your symptom and professional physical examination, there are many option, most of them is same effective or useless.
3,It's hard to completely fix back pain,no matter what treatment you chose,I suggest that you should consult reputable doctor, not anyone.
Good luck!
