L5-S1 issue....

What exactly does this mean:  L5-S1, There is a disc desiccation with minor annular bulging and little facet arthropathy without significant spinal canal or foraminal stenosis?

Between each two vertebrae there’s is a disc that acts as a cushion and a shock absorber. Disc desiccation means the disc is losing fluid or drying out.

Minor annular bulging is referring to a small minor disc bulge at L5-S1

The facet joints connect the back of the vertebra to one and other. Over time these joints can develop arthritis and cause back pain. Facet arthropathy simply means a disease or abnormality of the facet joints

Without significant spinal canal or foraminal stenosis?: Sometimes arthritis in spine can encroach on the spinal canal and foramina, (which is where the nerve roots come through) and cause stenosis. Stenosis means narrowing, so the report is saying that you have no significant narrowing in your spinal canal and neural foramina at L5-S1
