Leg aches

Hi I am 45 years old and I am having leg pain and also lower back pain that radiates down into my groin and hips. I have had and CT scan that the doctor said was normal. Can you please tell me what may be going on. The tops of my legs hurt more that the bottom.

yeah I agree, go to a rheumatologist, Also an MRI will show more detail than a CT especially with nerves and discs. Sciatica sounds like a possibility but any diagnosis would be tentative without full blood screens and a full spinal MRI. Don't rely soley on one scan especially ct

if you have had films of your entire spine and they all look clean, i would suggest going to a rheumatologist next.  they can do blood work and test you for things like fibromyalgia.  good luck and let us know how you make out!
