This isn't a question, just an update. I had an MRI on Wednesday and found out yesterday (Friday) I definitely have to have a fusion on L4 thru S1! Not to happy but praying it will give me some relief. Dr. said I am bone on bone since there is no disc in between. There is a lot of nerve impingement affecting both legs, (which a Dr. didn't have to tell me that). The good new is..... the rest of my vertebrae looks like a "20 year old!" So now I am getting ready for surgery. Any advise from anyone who has had this surgery? They say it will be a 4-5 hour surgery - that scares me to death. Anyway, I hope all is well with you all in this forum.
