Low left side back and hip pain

What is wrong with me? I have had this pain for about 3 years now. I have had several injections, physical therapy, tens unit treatment, and even radio frequency ablation for the lower facet joints. That procedure gave me some relief with the lower back pain in general. MRI shows a big mess in the lower back.

My pain is off the lower left side of my back, upper buttocks, and then travels down the middle to the bottom of the buttocks. Then my entire hip and thigh hurts and sometimes the pain travels down the backside of my thigh and calf. I have had some shooting pain though my foot. There is sometimes a burning feeling, as if the back of my leg is on fire. The only way I can describe the pain I feel just off to the left lower side is like a huge bruise that feels as though it is being pushed on all the time. I cannot stand or sit to long, I cannot sleep on the left side, or cross my right leg over the left. I get some relief sitting forward and by not putting any weight on the left side when I sit. My left leg feels very weak and sometimes I loose my balance when applying weight on the left leg. I am taking 2 kinds of pain meds that barely touch the pain along with keppra and desiprimene. Help, please?

I got a shot in my left buttock about 6 mths. ago . After a month my lower back started hurting and has gotten worse .I had a MRI ,it showed nothing . What is going on the pain is really bad ???
