Lower Back Pain

by sara0618, Jan 19, 2009 03:40PM
For the past two months around the end of my menstrual cycle, I have extreme lower back pain. It starts at the end of my spine, but then throbs farther down. It seems to be on both sides. This pain causes me to have a hard time walking with my back straight. Certain movements cause me to jolt, like I'm hitting some trigger. The only time the pain is mild is when I'm laying on my side. I have had this pain in the past, it used to happen maybe once or twice a year. It seems like it is connected to my menstrual, but I have never been person to have pain included with it. My cycle hasn't really changed (3 days) either. I am only 26 so I'm not sure what could be causing this. Oh yeah, last month I did go to an urgent care facility, they did do any x-ray but found nothing. They only stated that I must have strained it. Any suggestions please? Thanks...
