Lower back and groin pain

Hi,
I have had lower back pains of just short of a year now, at first they were quite severe and i worried quite a lot about what the problem could be as i am only 24 years old. I also had a pain im my scrotum so the doctor arranged an ultrasound and some other tests. Everything was fine and the pain in my back was diagnosed as mechanical due to being overweight so i arranged to see an oesteopath, gradually my back got better and better and along with exercise i only have the odd dull ache or a bit if stiffness. Thew problem is over the last six months i have had a groin pain particually on the left hand side on the waistline. it comes and goes and is not over painfull but some ehat nagging, what i would like to know is it this could be due to my lower back problems or could my weight be an issue. I have no other pain anywhere else so i'm slightly confused. when i do have the pain though sudden movements can make it worse e.g hitting a bump in the road, stairs etc.
