Lower to mid back pain

Lower to mid back pain

Around may of this year I started to get back pain when I dipped my back to far. The pain would be sudden, but if I held it, it would go away. However when I went back down to a normal stance the pain would come back, but this time would be all wavy and give me shivers. I should mention I have scoliosis but it has never been a problem in my life. I run 5 times a day, am in pretty good shape, I try to eat as well as I can (my job has me on the go quite a bit). I was just baffled when this started to show up. End of July I started using a cold pack on my back which made it a lot more bearable.

I have read a lot on this issue, however most things I read is that the pain is a constant. Mine is only when I try to agitate it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Is running  hurting your back? would doing an alternative sport give the back a change to settle down? ( Something like swimming, that is non weight bearing ) ask a physio therapist for opinions and ideas. Good Luck. MaritimeFox
