Lump on and around spine middle-lower area

I've had a lump on my back for the past 4 or more year's.
It seem's to be getting some what larger. When I touch or
rub it I get a numbing tingling feeling all over my back.And if I work
hard (as Im a housekeeper) by the end of the day Im in some serious
pain (the whole back) The area seem's to be the same area where I
had an epidural but not sure if it is the same exact spot. It concern's
me but I just take ibuprofen and it seem's to help.
What do you think and could it be serious??
