MRI Findings

My MRI report states the following.

There is a new broad-based left paramedic to left lateral disk protrusion causing asymmetric narrowing of the left lateral recess and left neural foramen. Correlate for left l5-S1 radiculopathy.  The right lateral recess and right neural foramen are patent.

Hi there!

The MRI describes an intervertebral disc prolapse at lower spinal level causing narrowing of the spaces that carry the spinal nerves on the left side and possible pressure on the nerves as well.
