thank you will study them and learn to understand the problems he is having and yes his heart problems are a different problem all together we understand that i was just giving you his history thank you so much again
If that was a question, the answer is: yes. Although the cardiovascular problems are probably not due to his spine disease.
That's another thing -- it's not his back. I'm suggesting that he might have spine disease, which is very different than a sore back.
Also, people with lumbar degenerative disc disease often have accompanying cervical disc disease.
Go read those sites and you'll learn to talk like this. Using the right medical terms goes a long way with medical people.
Best wishes.

Hello denpet, and welcome to the spine forum.
Your friend has multiple problems in the lower back. There is a lot of lumbar disc degeneration and your friend has multiple disc bulges that cause multiple problems.
There is a lot going on, and it would do me a disservice to talk about your friend's MRI w/o putting it in the context of his physical findings, medical history, and treatment options.
So, I'm going to refer you to a spine site that has more information on degenerative disc disease, disc bulges and herniations, spondylosis, and foraminal stenosis.
Get all the information you can on conditions and treatments from this site.

Look under the first menu titled Conditions.
First, you need to understand the anatomy of the lumbar spine.
