Following is the impression of my latest MRI:
1. Status post lower lumbar and lumbosacral laminectomy and Steffi screws from L3 to L5.
2. Pseudomeningocele from mid L3 to L5 level, and a similar fluid collection at the donor site along the left iliace bone.
3. Minimal retrolisthesis at L2-L3, and mild anterolisthesis and retrolisthesis at L4-L6 and L5-S1 levels.
4. Mild spinal stenosis from facet hypertrophy at L2-L3, and mild subarticular and left posterolateral disc bulge, probably not significant, at L3-L4.
5. Disc herniation in the midline and to the left paracentral aspect with inferior extrusion of disc material on the left at L5-S1, coming in contact with the traversing S1 root on the left.
6. Endplate edema at the lower endplate of L5 and upper endplate of S1.
In layman term's, what is it telling me? You'd think a doctor would fully explain, but all the Orthopedic Doctors I've seen to date just tell me there's nothing more they can do for me. I am attempting to get SSD due to the excruiating pain I've been in since BEFORE my surgery (surgery may have made it even worse) and they keep on denying me. I would like to know once and for all what is wrong with me.
If you could give me ANY assistance, I would surely appreciate it!
Thanks!
