MRI results

I had an anterior fusion of C4,C5 and C6 in Dec. 06. I had a follow up MRI in October 07 due to continued pain in my shoulder, arm and numb hand on my right side. The MRI report summary states the following: demonstrates right lateral disc bulging into the right neural foramina with moderate right neural foraminal narrowing at C4-C5 and C5-C6. The central canal and left neural formaina appera widely patent at each of these levels. The other finding of note is the are of abnormal signal in the posterior right lateral margin of the cord at C4-C5 level.
Could there be something that was missed in the surgery that is still causing these pains that I am having on my right side? My surgeron states they have done all that can be done. Should I seek a second opinion based upon this MRI report?
Thanks,
