Can someone break down my MRI for me?

Let me also say that MRIs out of context can be meaningless, especially when it comes to back pain. Pain docs see normal looking MRIs when a person can have severe back pain, while pathologists have noticed horrible looking back MRIs in patients who never complained of pain.

Again, I reinforce the idea of talking over all your questions with your doc. He she can talk about both disease. treatment options, and possible outcomes with authority. Here, we're just guessing.

Your doctor is the best interpreter of any MRI because he or she knows your history, symptoms, and has performed a physical examination.
