Micoplasma bacteria infection

by vikkitan, Jun 21, 2009 10:52AM
Hi,

My daughter's friend, age 11 years old had mycoplasma bacteria infection about a month ago.  The pain moves around her body from neck, shoulder to the knees and she experiences headache and at times her toes gets cramp. Doctor has given her medication for the mycoplasma bacteria infection and she is clear of it now. But she still experiences the pain moving around her body and headache.  When it hits her, she will be very weak and lethargic and when it passes she will be back to normal.  Doctor has just recommended for an MRI scan.

Please advise what could be the cause of these symptoms as the mother is very sad and knows not what to do.
