Mid-back pain

by Shade43052, Sep 18, 2008 12:54AM
I have severe pain all the way across my back, in the area below my shoulder blades. Standing for more than about
ten minutes and even sitting for that same amount of time just causes me so much pain that I can hardly stand it. I
used to enjoy going for walks, but I just don't go anymore because of the pain. My doctor has me on Hydrocodone # 10's and they help for awhile but the pain comes back well before I'm supposed to take another dose.
I'm beginning to think that the pain will never go away and I am having trouble coping with my everyday routines.
I just don't know what to do next.
