Most my bones ache and click but im only 18

Its mainly the top of my back, shoulder blades and neck really ache and always clicks, it often becomes painful when I cant manage to click . But my wrists, fingers, elbows and knees click quite often which can also make them ache.

Is this normal for an 18 year old women?? What could it be and is there anything I can do to stop it??

Also I had anorexia when I was younger (only fully recovered about a year ago and its been on and off since the age of 12). Could this have anything to do with it??

I dont try and make my bones click hardly, it just does it. The only time I make it click is when its starting to ache/painful or when I stretch.

Hi there!

Well, without a clinical evaluation it would be difficult to comment specifically on your symptoms. Possibilities that may need to be considered include muscle strain/ spasm, postural abnormalities, micronutrient deficiencies, degeneration, connective tissue disorders etc. It would be best to have this evaluated by a primary care physician or an orthopedician for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate management.
Hope this is helpful.

Take care!
