It says, at c3-4 there is a large right paracentral disc herniation having the apperance of an extrusion extending at least 7mm beyond the confines of the annulus and approximately 3-3 mm below the level of the annulus. There is a marked effacement of the ventral subarachnoidSubarachnoid hemorrhage space with ventral impression upon the right aspect of the cervical cord.
My NS told me that there is no other method that is going to fix this except surgery. He said we have to fuse C345 .I have been treating with a chiro for 3 months now, and he thinks he can fix me. I have been seeing him 3 times a week, and massage therapy 1 a week, with no relief from pain.
I can hardly move when I wake in the morning, takes me about 30 minutes to get out of bed. I am dropping tools allot at work, seem to loose my balance easily, numbness, or tingle in my left arm and hand, and of course pain in my neck.
I guess my question is does anyone out there have a C345 fusion out there?
How long before you returned to work?Is this going to seriously limit me in life?
I install custom staircases for a living, and the things I do are extremly heavy.
Any help, advise I can get would be great.
Thank You
