Neck Fusion

My mother is in constant pain from her neck fusion in August, mainly her arms and the back of her neck, and shoulders. Does anyone have any advice or anything that could help?

Hi!
I am sorry to hear that your mother is in pain. This could be due to nerve compression or due to muscle stiffness post surgery.
Usually massaging the sore points, physiotherapy, applying local analgesic followed by heat pad, and wearing a cervico-thoracic corset helps. She could visit a chiropractor or a physical therapist and learn some exercises which she can do to relieve the compression and pain. Please discuss with your doctor. Take care!
